Board of Adjustment The Board of Adjustment is responsible for the issuance of variances. Variances are based upon the Town's zoning ordinance. The zoning ordinance establishes specific requirements for a given land area within the municipality which regulate not only the uses permitted in that area but the size of the parcels, setbacks required, parking signs, conditional uses and numerous such regulations. Board of Adjustment meetings are normally held (when an application is pending) on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:30PM at the municipal building, in the Council Room.
