Ladies and gentlemen, today is a significant moment as I embark on my fourth term as your mayor, humbled and honored. Together, we've faced challenges, celebrated triumphs, and tirelessly worked to shape our town into a community we can all take pride in.

Reflecting on the past four years, we can't forget the transformative impact of March 13th, 2020—the day the world changed. A massive COVID switch seemingly turned everything off, disrupting our lives and bringing our bustling town to a sudden halt.

Initially, we hoped for a brief interruption, urging patience. However, weeks turned into months, and here we are on the other side of the pandemic, a distant memory for some, still a pressing reality for others.

Throughout this journey, we've maintained a relentless focus on enhancing our town's infrastructure. Roads and utilities are the backbone of our community, and our investment in their improvement ensures a prosperous collective future. Ambitious projects undertaken in the past terms equip Clinton for sustained growth and offer residents the advantages of a well-maintained, modernized environment.

Equally vital is our commitment to fostering an inclusive and safe community. Let's implement programs celebrating diversity, promoting understanding, and strengthening the ties that bind us. In times of challenge, our community has displayed remarkable resilience, uniting with compassion and solidarity.

As we stand on the cusp of a new term, let's continue this journey of growth and collaboration. Much work lies ahead, and I'm enthusiastic about the possibilities. Together, we'll face challenges, champion progress, and ensure Clinton remains a shining example of what a united community can achieve.
