2021 Events

Shop with a COP, Town of Clinton Police and PBA #188 – December 2021

The Hunterdon County PBA's Shop With a Cop event was once again a success.  Two students from Clinton Public School were able to participate and had a blast.  Both students were picked up at the school and taken to Fred Beans in Flemington for cookies, beverages and pictures. All of the participating departments then left and travelled lights and sirens (the kids loved it!) to the Walmart in Flemington.  The officers shopped with all of the children.  After shopping, they went back to Fred Beans where they wrapped the presents and had pizza.  The officers brought the kids home with their presents.  Sgt. Tim McGuire was assisted by Det. Alberton Bonilla, Ptl. Matt Ellis and Ptl. Melissa Tornberg.

No Shave November – November to December 2021

Officers will be raising money to help support The Remembering Scott Oldenburg (R.H.S.O.) Foundation. Henry 'Scott' Oldenburg was a Readington Township Police Lieutenant who succumbed to pancreatic cancer at the age of 42. The foundation was created in his remembrance to not only support pancreatic cancer research, but also help support local families who are also dealing with loved ones fighting pancreatic cancer. Officers raised over $1100.00 for Scott’s Foundation.

Coffee with a COP – October, 21st, 2021

Joining with our neighbors, residents and businesses owners for a little conversation was a great time.  Chief Kubinak, Ptl. Melissa Tornberg and Ptl. Andrew Lerner stopped in to chat with local people.  We thank the area businesses that contributed Citi Spot (our host), Just Subs and Johny Biscotti Gourmet Treats.
