Closures & Limited Building Access

As part of the Town's coordinated response to address the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, starting Monday, March 16, access to both Town Hall (43 Leigh Street) and the Town's Finance/Construction Office (47 Leigh Street)  will be limited to municipal staff only.

Members of the public can find most forms and applications on our website at www.clintonnj.gov. Completed applications can be placed in the"drop box" or "mail box" at either building listed above.

  • Municipal staff will be available by phone or email to answer questions and provide assistance.  
  • Tax, Construction, and Zoning information can be obtained by calling 908-735-2275.  
  • Water Billing and Non-Emergency Water Information can be obtained by calling 908-735-2265
  • Sewer Billing, Non-Emergency Sewer information, Vital Records, Marriage Licenses, and other Municipal information can be obtained by calling 908-735-8616
  • Non-Emergency Police Information can be obtained by calling 908-735-8611, or by following the Clinton police on Twitter.

Contact information to e-mail all municipal staff is located on our website by selecting the appropriate department under "Government" on our home page. 

We encourage all residents to sign up to receive e-mail notifications from the Town by clicking here, as well as following us on Facebook and Twitter as additional information on the Coronavirus (COVID-19), as well as other municipal information will be sent out through these outlets.

The Mayor and Council hope that you will contact Town Hall if you are in need of any assistance. We will provide assistance wherever we can, and if we are unable to assist, we put you in contact with the appropriate individual or agency that could provide the information or assistance that you require.

CLINTON COMMUNITY CENTER

As part of the Town's coordinated response to address the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, effective immediately, The Clinton Community Center (63 Halstead St.) will be closed.

All classes, workshops and events are cancelled or postponed until further notice.
