Clinton Green Team

What is a Green Team?

Sustainable Jersey certification is a prestigious designation for municipal governments in New Jersey.  It is run through the Green Team program, which includes nearly 400 Green Teams, each representing a municipality in New Jersey that is registered with Sustainable Jersey. Green Teams provide the leadership to develop plans, implement programs and assist with educational opportunities that support the creation of a sustainable community. All actions taken by Green Teams to score points toward certification must be accompanied by documentary evidence and is reviewed. The certification is free and completely voluntary.

The Clinton Town Council formally established the Clinton Green Team by resolution in 2009, and recently updated again in 2023.
